Spec's wine and liquor store opens in West El Paso

The new 30,000 square foot store, at 655 Sunland Park Drive, features a full deli, complete with made-to-order sandwiches and a chef's case for meals made easy. The store opened on Saturday and its grand opening will be August 6. This is the first Spec's to open in West Texas.

The decision to expand into the Star City, according to Spec's Vice President of Marketing, was an easy one.

"We're so excited to be part of a community as rich in culture and history as El Paso," says Lisa Rydman-Key, also a third generation Spec's family member. "As a Texas-family owned business, it's our pleasure to serve one of the largest markets in in the Lone Star State. The grand opening will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
