Grand opening of Alexandria's new premium dealership

The Rosenthal Automotive Organization just announced the grand opening of its newest dealership, FIAT of Alexandria. “The move was a natural for us”, noted the president of Rosenthal Automotive , Donald Bavely . “Since we already have a Chrysler dealership, a brand we truly believe it, and since Fiat announced their merger with Chrysler , it only seemed logical for us to apply for the FIAT franchise.”

The FIAT dealership is now open next door to another dealership, that’s almost as new. “We recently celebrated the opening of BMW of Alexandria (formerly BMW of Arlington), and now that FIAT is here, we’re planning another grand opening event just as great.” said Bavely . “We are excited about introducing people to the new Fiat 500 series of vehicles, as well as to our beautiful dealership our Italian inspired studio, our state-of-the-art service facilities and our very knowledgeable and friendly sales staff.”

The 500, or “Cinquecento” as it’s known around the world, is a colorful, sporty import with impressive gas mileage ranging from up to 30 mpg. city and up to 38 mpg. highway when equipped with the manual transmission (27/34 with the automatic). “The 500 is truly unique to the DC area market.” remarked V. Bui, the dealer’s senior manager. “No other car offers its combination of Italian style, modern technology, excellent fuel efficiency and affordable price.” The Fiat 500 is equipped with the award winning 1.4 L in-line four-cylinder, 16-valve MultiAir Engine. Its sophisticated technology delivers an increase in power of up to 10% while simultaneously reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 10%.

It was recognized as “the single most innovative engine technology of the year” by the International Engine of the Year awards panel, and as the “Best of What’s New” by Popular Science Magazine. While the Fiat 500 clearly shows its Italian heritage in design and function, it has been manufactured to meet and exceed the strict standards for American automobiles in terms of safety and performance. It comes with seven air bags, Four-Wheel Disc Antilock Braking System, All Speed Traction Control and Electronic Stability Control as standard equipment. It also comes in 14 different colors, along with a variety of interior color combinations, plus a wide assortment of options and accessories that will enable customers to customize and individualized their vehicles to their heart’s content.

Car manuals… are they a can of worms?  Overall I’m of the opinion that they are worth a go on ebay.  Some manuals are worth $$$ (like this one) and some aren’t.  Some are keenly sought after and some aren’t.  To be blunt about it, some sell and some don’t, but overall I have had enough success to warrant listing more.  So I tend to list as many as I can find and always with a “buy it now option”.  I figure that if you need a car manual, you probably need it now and not in 10 days time at the end of an auction.   These books often have marks… greasy finger marks that is, which is something that on any other type of book, is not really acceptable.  Car manuals are generally used as working tools and most people don’t seem bothered by the marks probably because they are wanting to put their own greasy fingers all over them.  This set overall i So what happens to the manuals that I don’t sell on ebay?  Well I do sell some of my unsold stock to another book dealer who has a large selection/collection of car manuals for sale.  Recently I was at his shop when a young lady (one of many) discovered the manuals whilst browsing his stock.  She immediately called her boyfriend (a car mechanic) and on his advice bought a half dozen manuals.  I guess the large selection was too much of a temptation.
