Allerdings hat der Player beim Abspielen von Videomaterial von meiner 2,5″ USB Platte Bildaussetzer erzeugt und die Platte klang auch nicht wirklich gesund. Ich denke, hier fehlt es an der nötigen Stromversorgung. Der USB Stick wurde anstandslos gelesen.Ton: Für diese Preisklasse top Qualität und Verarbeitung! Ich habe in dieser Preisklasse abgesehen vom BDP7500 noch kein hochwertigeres Gerät gefunden und das Design ist meines Erachtens ebenfalls sehr gelungen. Die Hochglanzfront ist allerdings sehr empfindlich und man hinterlässt gerne mal einen Fingerabdruck beim Bedienen des Touchscreen Panels.
Fernbedienung und Menüführung: Die FB liegt gut in der Hand und die Tasten sind logisch angeordnet und gut zu erreichen. Schade, dass Philips auf eine Eject-Taste verzichtet hat. Man muss 5 Sekunden auf der Stopp-Taste bleiben, damit die Disc ausgeworfen wird. Das Ei-förmige Design der FB wirkt alles Andere als elegant. Das On-Screen Menü ist dagegen sehr übersichtlich und einfach zu bedienen. Eine Anleitung ist nicht erforderlich, alles selbsterklärend.
Funktionen: Abgesehen von der Disc und USB Wiedergabe bietet Philips noch die Möglichkeit, über LAN Anschluss oder integriertem Wlan (wie bei mir) auf das Internet bzw. Heimnetz und dessen Dateifreigaben zuzugreifen. Die IP für den BDP7600 kann man dazu entweder manuell eintragen oder automatisch auswählen lassen. Beides funktioniert kinderleicht. Die Wlan Verbindung war über WPA nach Passworteingabe gleich hergestellt und – erfreulich – die Empfangsqualität noch etwas besser wie die meines PCs, der in etwa gleicher Entfernung zum Router steht.

Angeschlossen ist das Gerät über HDMI 1.3a an einem Samsung LE40F86BDX, die Voreinstellungen habe ich im Wesentlichen so belassen (Upscaling von Auto auf 1080p etc.). Firmware Version ist die initiale V1.09 (es gibt aktuell noch kein Update).
