My life has always been a bit unconventional. I couldn’t wait to move away from my small hometown and live the big city life. After I graduated high school, I did just that. I first moved to a town of 100 thousand then to sprawling Houston and, after having kids, rethought my small town roots and moved back home. My experiences have been as varied as the places I’ve lived and people have always told me, “Wow, you should write a book.” So I did that too. I started with Sally Murphy , the first novel of the Travis Pass Series, my 1800’s era work. I then continued with my WWII trilogy, consisting of Viveka’s War and Eureka Springs and my current project, Respectable Affair . My Contemporary novel, Drive Thru , released July 1st and is the second in a series which includes last year’s release, Intimate Flames . My ideas spring from all over. I had five sets of grandparents as I grew up and they’d tell me awesome and intriguing stories. One day, my good friend told me the story of her ancestry and I merged my history with hers to get Travis Pass .
